D-Series Vertical Machining Centers

Romi offers the market a wide range of Vertical Machining Centers, extremely versatile machine, designed to several machining applications, from tool rooms to production environments. Have robust mechanical structure, offering high rigidity even in severe machining operations, as well as geometrical and thermal stability, ensuring accuracy, high performance and productivity.
Are fitted with automatic tool changer, with up to 30 hp continuous main motor and 15,000 rpm headstock.

GL-Series Turning Centers
Excellent levels of power and speed with high precision for machining Romi GL Series Turning Centers were designed to operate in mid and high production volumes with a significant increase in productivity and profitability.
They offer high torque, high dimensional precision and great efficiency with less machining downtime . Main Technical Features Cartridge type headstock, with ultraprecision ballscrew supported by bearings with permanent lubrication and designed structure to reduce the thermal influence; Longitudinal and cross carriages, leaning on ultraprecision linear guides, and excellent positioning precision and repeatability; 12-station programmable turret with Romi type tool disk and tool holders for fixed tools (Romi GL 240, GL 280, ROMI GL 350 and ROMI GL 400); 12-station programmable turret with VDI or BT type tool disk, for fixed and driven tools, offering flexibility for drilling, milling and tapping operation (ROMI GL 240M, GL 280M, GL 350M, and GL 400M); The Machines are equipped with a the latest Fanuc iHMI Controls.
C-Series CNC Lathes
Extensive work flexibility for multiple applications with several chucks and toolholders configurations.
The ROMI C Series CNC Lathes offer great versatility for machining different types of parts, with great power levels, speed movement and machining precision. The machines are equipped with Siemens Sinumerik 828D CNC, with high performance and reliability hardware, which provides excellent programming, operation, and machining simulation resources.
RMMP – Romi Manual Machining Package. The ROMI C Series is equipped with RMMP – Romi Manual Machining Package, which allows simple operations to be completed without any type of programming. It is as simple to use as an Engine Lathe but with the added capability and productivity of a CNC Lathe. By RMMP, the operator can machine parts in manual mode using the handwheels and also in automatic mode (joystick and start cycle). He can also fill in the fields on CNC screen(standard w/ 3D simulation), informing spindle speed, feeds, cutting depth, coordinates and angles, and start the machining by cycle start button.
VT-Series Vertical CNC Lathes

The robust mechanical structure of ROMI VT Series provides rigidity, stability and versatility in machining processes of a wide range of workpieces found in the heavy industry, such as rings, sleeves, flanges and covers among others.
